I am married to a man who doesn't like me to post anything about him. He's a private kind-of guy. So i won't mention his name, but those of you who know me know who i'm talking about.
We are celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary this year. Hard to believe we are old enough to be married that long but considering we got married when we were 5, the numbers work out. :~)
I could go into a whole long dialogue about our marriage, the ups and downs, the work, the fun, the details, all the moves from location to location for school, etc. But i think i won't. Let me just say this: i married a young man who was motivated to get his education and to be successful. Not successful in a worldly way, but successful in life. He has been so patient with me and my faults and short-comings over the years. He has tried to be a good father, and a good grandfather. He has tried to be a good son also. I believe he has been extremely successful in these goals.
We have been richly blessed. But mostly, I HAVE BEEN RICHLY BLESSED to be married to this man for time and all eternity. So dear, if you read this, just know that i love you, i am proud of you, you are my best friend, you are my everything. Happy#35 and here's to many more!

He is also a wonderful son-in-law! We are proud of all he has accomplished. We are also way proud of our fabulous daughter. Love you forever and ever, mom and dad
we only have 13 under our collective marital belt; I aspire to your lofty perch, and look forward to seeing the view from there! congratulations.
35 years, that is quite a long time, an eternity by todays standards. It is a worth goal to have, you two are a great example to all of us.
