Today was the 3rd annual Autism Awareness Walk in St. Joseph. We participated last year and had a lot of fun despite the frozen weather. This year they moved it up to September (yay) and the weather couldn't have been more beautiful.
We walk (and donate money) in honor of our grandson Kale Maughan, who has severe autism. He is a sweet and special little boy and i hope he knows how much he is loved and how many people care about him.
Heather remembered her camera, and Patty Drews came, and she took pictures of the family (thx Patty!). Thanks to everyone who supports Autism research and awareness. Life is tough for the Maughans in regards to Kale's special needs. We hope and pray for some type of help that will make Kale's life more enjoyable and comfortable for him.
