And now you know THE REST OF THE STORY...

This is a continuation of my post from yesterday regarding my superhero husband, and how the rest of yesterday turned out....

So, everything always takes longer than you expect, and we didn't get home from the fireside and have dinner until closer to 10:30. Knowing that he was going on-call at 7am in the morning, he tried to get to bed as soon as he could (about midnight). The snoring was coming along well (from both sides of the bed, plus the kitty-cats who sleep in our bedroom) when the phone rang at 3:30am. I personally wouldn't have answered it because HE's NOT ON CALL YET. But the phone is soooooo loud in the middle of the night, plus it's on his side of the bed, so he answered it.

It was Nicole, calling from the hospital Emergency Room, to tell Gpa Scott that Kale was in serious seizure mode, and was in the ER for help. So Gpa jumped out of bed, got dressed and went to see what was happening. (Kale does have seizures occaisonally but usually not bad enough to end up going to the hospital).

He got home about 5am and went back to sleep for about an hour.

As i type this (10:30pm on Monday night) he is in his home office, writing one of the 4 talks he has to give this week. He very rarely repeats a talk, so he writes a fresh one each time.

Tuesday night: Duty to God training: Platte City
Wed night: i don't remember what he said he had to write a talk for this night: Platte City
Sunday: two talks for a ward conference

He's Superman, i tell ya.
