Summer Mom vs. School mom

I just read an amusing article in Women’s Day magazine about a woman who thought she was a summer mom (carefree days of summer with no schedule, going on impromptu picnics with the kids, sleeping in, etc) but then realized she was really a school mom (kids up on schedule and out of the house, chores and homework done promptly, a regular schedule to depend on). She said the best two days of the year are 1. The first day of summer vacation, and 2. The first day back to school. Haha!
I think I am (or was) a summer mom. I always cried when the kids when to school on the first day back (I never let them know that, though). What are you?
